Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help patients regain independence and productivity. Design individualized programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities while collaborating with peers and making referrals as needed. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote sustained self-care and thriving. Work in a facility setting as part of a team dedicated to patient-centered care across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
