Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to restore physical abilities and independence. Train patients and caregivers on skills promoting productivity while collaborating with peers and making referrals to ensure comprehensive care. Design individualized programs that reinforce and enhance patient function across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient, and home-based settings. Report to the Director of Rehab in a facility-based role focused on patient-centered rehabilitation and wellness services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
