Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to restore physical abilities and independence. Train patients and caregivers on skills promoting productivity while collaborating with peers and making referrals for comprehensive care. Design individualized programs that reinforce and enhance patient capabilities across facility settings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
