Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to restore physical abilities and independence. Design individualized programs that reinforce and enhance patient capabilities while training caregivers on skills promoting productivity. Collaborate with peers to make referrals when necessary, adapting to diverse patient settings and varying care requirements. Report to the Director of Rehab in a facility-based environment within Genesis Healthcare, where patient-centered care is a core value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
