Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help patients restore physical abilities and independence. Design individualized programs that reinforce skills, train patients and caregivers on productivity techniques, and collaborate with peers or make referrals to ensure comprehensive care. Work directly with patients in facility settings to promote their active participation and thriving.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
