Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help older adults regain independence and thrive. Design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities while training patients and caregivers on skills for productivity. Collaborate with peers, make referrals when necessary, and adapt to diverse patient settings to promote their full potential. Work in a facility environment as part of a patient-centered team dedicated to restoring hope and improving lives through integrated rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
