Occupational Therapist (OT) - Peoria West Valley Campus ($3k Sign-On Bonus)

Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for assessment and implementation of students' OT needs for a K-8 program at the Peoria West Valley Campus, supervising COTA staff, engaging in data-driven instruction, and applying ABA strategies. Duties include identifying eligibility and IEP needs, supervising/train­ing COTAs and classroom staff to implement IEP goals (fine motor, life skills, psychosocial adaptations, sensory processing, visual-motor skills), following school-wide systems and positive behavior interventions, supporting services in a classroom integration model, proactive communication with students and families, paperwork compliance and Medicaid billing, monitoring growth and progress toward IEP goals, and participating in annual and ongoing staff training and IEP/MET meetings.
