Job Summary
Deliver daily occupational therapy services to infants through geriatrics by evaluating patients, gathering data from records and team members, and implementing individualized treatment programs. Establish and modify intervention goals based on ongoing assessments while coordinating therapy with medical, nursing, and rehabilitation care plans. Provide direct therapy using various functional settings, prepare required documentation including progress notes and treatment plans, and communicate effectively with families and physicians. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and share new knowledge with co-workers.
Required Qualifications
- Active license in the state of practice upon hire
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- 1-3 years clinical patient care experience
