Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury, working as part of a home health team focused on the patient's plan of care and personal goals. Assess patients, observe deficits, establish therapy goals, and document progress while assisting with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination. Suggest adaptive equipment such as grab bars and shower chairs, assess fall risks, and introduce strategies to improve home safety. Educate patients and families on the plan of care, exercises, goals, and self-care. This part-time role in Tucson, Arizona requires current Arizona OT licensure, CPR certification, and a valid fingerprint clearance card. Minimum expectation is 5 visits or 10 hours per week. Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Arizona
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist program
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
