Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury, assessing deficits, establishing goals, and documenting progress. Assist patients with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination, suggest adaptive equipment like grab bars, and introduce strategies to improve home safety. Educate patients and families on the plan of care, exercises, and self-care techniques. Work as part of a home health team including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, PTs, and SLPs focused on the patient's plan of care and personal goals.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Arizona
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist program
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
