Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient Therapy at the Riverfront

The Occupational Therapist (OT) conducts outpatient evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages, designs and monitors a plan of care with goals, outcomes, and discharge plans, educates patients and families, and documents evaluations and treatment plans. Responsibilities include performing examinations to support physical therapy diagnoses, assessing range of motion and strength, providing support to staff, and communicating progress with the referring provider. Includes daily documentation, utilization of EMR, and delivery of therapies such as therapeutic ultrasound and fluidotherapy; ensures adherence to department policy and relevant program requirements (e.g., DNV Hip and Knee Replacement). The role is with Carle Health in an outpatient setting, with sign-on bonus and relocation support for moves over 50 miles.
