Implement occupational therapy treatment plans by selecting activities to progress patients toward functional goals in activities of daily living, mobility, and cognitive tasks. Collaborate with physicians to establish, evaluate, and revise care plans while providing ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and family education materials according to departmental guidelines and protocols. Adhere to ethical business practices, infection prevention precautions, and AIDET principles while maintaining confidentiality and punctuality. Complete mandatory education activities and core competencies to maintain licensure.
