Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services for neuro patients, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning. Document results, explain findings to families, and incorporate patients into goal setting. Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Manage accurate schedules, meet productivity expectations, and provide frictionless patient access through flexibility and empathy. Pursue continuing education, serve as a clinical instructor for students, and mentor staff and volunteers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required as deemed necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification
