Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities in their home settings. Design treatment plans using standardized tools, best practice guidelines, and SMART goals while actively engaging families and caregivers in client-centered coaching. Evaluate intervention effectiveness and client progress toward goal attainment throughout the session. This part-time Independent Contractor role requires after-school and weekend availability, with clients located in Markham and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- After school and weekend availability
- Experience with children and teens diagnosed with Autism
- Proof of current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Proof of professional liability
- Valid driver's license
- ADP authorizer status
- Must provide an up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Screen
- Professional Liability Insurance
Desired Qualifications
- First Aid certification
- CPR certification
- CPI certification
