Job Summary
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families in home settings. Conduct standardized assessments using presenting impairments or diagnoses, design treatment plans based on best practice guidelines, and actively engage clients and caregivers to address client-centered goals. Evaluate intervention effectiveness and progress toward SMART goal attainment while coaching families on implementation. Requires current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, valid driver's license, and post-school/weekend availability. Weekly pay and on-site parking included.
Required Qualifications
- After school and weekend availability
- Experience with children and teens diagnosed with Autism
- Proof of current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Proof of professional liability
- Valid driver's license
- ADP authorizer status
- Must provide an up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Screen
- Professional Liability Insurance
