Job Summary
Implement standards of care for occupational therapy services while visiting patients in Contra Costa, Solano, and Alameda counties. Provide counseling and education to patients, caregivers, and families; evaluate functional status and home environments for hazards; and develop total plans of care with physicians. Teach new skills or retrain patients in daily activities, fabricate splints, and instruct use of adaptive equipment, prosthetics, and orthotics. Requires valid CA OT license, current CPR certification, and 2+ years of clinical experience. Full-time, part-time, or per diem roles offer competitive pay from $65.00 to $80.00/hr plus a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CA OT License
- Current CPR certification
- 2+ years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order
