Job Summary
Provide outpatient occupational therapy in-home for older adults, evaluating and treating patients in their private residences or in independent living facilities. Lead and supervise OT staff as needed, collaborate with rehabilitation team to select appropriate therapeutic regimens, develop and implement individualized treatment goals, conduct comprehensive assessments, ensure thorough documentation and record-keeping, arrange supplies/equipment, and design adaptive devices and activities of daily living to enhance functional performance. Travel to patient residences is required to deliver services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy (ACOTE-accredited)
- Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Valid, unencumbered state OT license
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
