Job Summary
Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and community guidelines. Deliver quality patient care including ongoing treatment per a plan of care, supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs where required, and manage case responsibilities. Maintain professional conduct representing commitment to quality in all client interactions while adhering to state and federal regulations. Requires a Texas OT license, accredited school graduation, and experience in Skilled Nursing or Veterans Homes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Net Health Rehab is essential. Full-time position at Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Experience in Skilled Nursing/Veterans Homes/ or healthcare as a OT Leader
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Proficiency in Net Health Rehab as the primary Operating Software
- Valid Occupational Therapist state license. (Texas)
- Experience in health care / hospitality or other related field
- Possess a passion for working in a retirement community with the geriatric population
