Occupational Therapist OT

Occupational Therapist (OT) conducts assessments of residents to identify occupational therapy needs and matches those needs with available services. Performs regular sessions according to the treatment program schedule, evaluates and maintains progress records, and reports progress to management and family members in regular meetings. Repeats evaluations to measure progress per professional guidelines, stays current with professional literature, and attends seminars to maintain skills. Requires hearing ability and strong verbal and written communication with residents and their families to ensure understanding of the program and progress.
