Job Summary
Evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs to promote functional independence. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors, assist with scheduling, and document care according to regulatory and payer requirements. Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition while handling responsibilities under applicable laws. This role supports adult and geriatric patients across medical, surgical, ICU, and specialty units at Phelps Health Acute Care in south-central Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Accepting new grads
