Job Summary
Develop specialized treatment plans to help patients regain well-being through exercise and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and instruct family or nursing staff in follow-through programs. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements while maintaining equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition. Handle job responsibilities in accordance with company compliance standards and applicable state/federal laws. This role supports Lifepoint Rehabilitation's mission to help patients recover fully and regain independence through acute inpatient rehabilitation services.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
