Job Summary
Develop specialized treatment plans to help patients regain well-being through exercise and prosthetic or orthotic devices. Communicate patient progress and problems to supervisors and team members while instructing families and nursing staff on follow-through programs. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements. Maintain equipment and work areas in safe, clean conditions while adhering to company standards and applicable laws. This role supports recovery at Kindred Hospital St. Louis South, a 38-bed long-term acute care facility offering extended recovery services.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Schedule: 9:00am - 3:30pm, must work 1 weekend a month
