Job Summary
Assess residents' occupational therapy needs and match them with available services, then meet regularly to evaluate and maintain progress records. Report progress to management and family members while repeating evaluations according to professional guidelines to measure advancement. Keep current with professional literature and attend seminars to maintain and update skills. Requires hearing ability sufficient for evaluation, strong verbal and written communication, and passing level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
Required Qualifications
- Hearing ability sufficient to evaluate residents' occupational therapy needs
- Skill communicating verbally and in writing with residents and family members so that all parties understand the program and the degree of progress being made
- Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status
