Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning for inpatient rehab patients. Perform specific assessments, explain findings to families, and incorporate patient input into goal setting. Demonstrate proficiency in treatment protocols, consult with healthcare professionals, and document changes requiring plan modifications. Complete accurate discharge planning, follow-up care, and comprehensive documentation of daily encounters, progress summaries, and baseline evaluations. Manage an accurate schedule, meet productivity expectations, and provide clinical instruction to students while mentoring new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support)
