Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (Inpatient Rehab) provides occupational therapy services including screening and evaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, treatment re-assessment and revision, patient/client re-evaluation, discharge planning, and documentation. Participates in program planning and protocol development; assists the team in meeting goals. Supervises/mentors students and serves as a clinical instructor. Requires degree in Occupational Therapy and licensure in the applicable state(s), plus BLS. Works at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in Glen Burnie, MD, delivering comprehensive OT care with collaboration across healthcare professionals and emphasis on patient-centered outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure as necessary for your specific location(s)
- American Heart Association’s BLS (Basic Life Support)
