Job Summary
Conduct home health visits to adult and geriatric patients in Pitt and Beaufort counties, performing thorough evaluations of functional status, muscle function, and cognitive aspects. Assess home environments for hazards, identify equipment needs, and develop individualized intervention plans to promote independent living. Continually revise care plans, educate patients and families on rehabilitative activities, and document observations using a touch pad tablet. Maintain a current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license with at least one year of recent experience. Join a multi-disciplinary team providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care, supported by comprehensive infection prevention protocols and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- A current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Solid computer skills
