Job Summary
OT/Home Health PRN role providing in-home occupational therapy for adults and seniors across Pasadena, Baytown, Seabrook, and surrounding East Houston areas. Responsibilities include performing OT evaluations/re-evaluations, developing and updating Plans of Care, treating orthopedic/neurological/cardiac/post-surgical conditions, addressing ADLs/IADLs, applying manual therapy and modalities, fall prevention and home safety, training patients and caregivers in adaptive equipment, fabricating splints, documenting in EMR, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and supervising COTAs/home health aides as applicable. The position offers flexible daytime scheduling, mileage reimbursement, comprehensive benefits, CEU reimbursement, PTO, and an equal opportunity employer environment.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Texas or eligible Compact Licensure
- Home Health experience (1 year required)
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of home health regulations and Medicare guidelines preferred
