Job Summary
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN home health role providing in-home OT evaluations and care to adults and seniors in Austin and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include developing and updating Plans of Care, treating orthopedic/neurological/cardiac/post-surgical conditions, addressing ADLs/IADLs, balance and functional mobility, applying manual therapy and modalities, implementing fall prevention and home safety measures, training patients and caregivers in adaptive equipment and DME, fabricating splints, documenting in EMR, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and supervising COTAs/home health aides as applicable. Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in Texas or eligible Compact Licensure
- Home Health experience (1 year required)
- CPR certification
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
