Job Summary
Conduct home health visits to adult and geriatric clients in senior living communities across Asheboro, North Carolina. Perform thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, and communication skills. Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects to develop individualized intervention plans and evaluate home environments for safety hazards. Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations to enhance client outcomes. Continually revise care plans, participate in multidisciplinary discussions with nursing, and educate patients and families on rehabilitative care. Accurately document observations and interventions using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license, one year of recent experience, and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- A current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Solid computer skills
