Job Summary
Conduct home health visits to adult and geriatric clients in Pitt and Beaufort counties, performing thorough functional status evaluations including muscle function, endurance, and communication skills. Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor performance to develop individualized intervention plans and evaluate home environments for hazards or barriers. Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations, while continually revising care plans and collaborating with nursing staff. Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities to promote independent living, and accurately document observations and interventions using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license, one year of recent OT experience, and strong computer skills with EMR proficiency. Full-time or part-time schedule available with weekly pay and direct deposit.
Required Qualifications
- A current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Solid computer skills
