Job Summary
Facilitate rehabilitation for patients with emotional, physical, or mental disabilities by developing and implementing occupational therapy care plans. Coordinate care with the home healthcare team, evaluate therapy needs, and monitor patient progress while reporting outcomes. Educate patients and family members, and prepare timely, complete, and accurate clinical notes. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, office support, and other care team members. Full-time and PRN shifts available in Houston, TX, with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- Occupational therapist in the state of Texas
- Able to handle physical workload
- Good driving record
- Effective communication and people skills
Desired Qualifications
- Home health experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of home health regulations and general healthcare compliance
- Experience with HCHB EMR (preferred but not required)
