Job Summary
Perform home health occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations for adult and geriatric patients while developing individualized Plans of Care. Treat conditions including orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical issues by addressing ADLs, fall prevention, and environmental modifications. Apply manual therapy techniques, fabricate splints, and train patients on adaptive equipment. Complete accurate EMR documentation and communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Supervise COTAs and home health aides as applicable while adhering to all home health regulations and infection control standards. This Full-Time or PRN role offers flexible daytime scheduling with competitive compensation, mileage reimbursement, and CEU support.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Texas or eligible Compact OT Licensure
- Home Health experience (1 year required)
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
Desired Qualifications
- HomeCareHomeBase (HCHB) experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of home health regulations and Medicare guidelines preferred
