Job Summary
Assess, monitor and track child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly using our EMR. Conduct Occupational Therapy sessions for children with diagnoses such as ASD or sensory issues. Deliver center-based and/or home-based services and maintain confidential records in compliance with Early Intervention and CPSE/CSE regulations. Collaborate with a team to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education in child-directed play within natural learning environments. Requires NY OT licensure and a driver’s license; flexible schedule with part-time or full-time options. Salary includes starting pay of $69,000 for full-time, with associated session rates for EI/CPSE depending on setting.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of New York required
- Knowledge of New York State laws/regulations in regard to Occupational Therapy
- Minimum of two years of experience working with children is preferred
- Experience in sensory integration is preferred
- A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
