Job Summary
Per diem School-Based Occupational Therapist needed to assess and treat children in a public-school setting in Hauppauge, NY. Responsibilities include conducting OT sessions for children with various diagnoses, using an Electronic Medical Record system to document progress, maintaining confidentiality of records, providing school-based services, and ensuring compliance with NY state laws related to Early Intervention. Requires NY-licensed OT, knowledge of NY regulations, strong communication skills, and access to a vehicle. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of New York required
- Knowledge of New York State laws/regulations in regard to Occupational Therapy
- Minimum of two years of experience working with children is preferred
- A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
