Job Summary
Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools. Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and enhance their functional abilities, while educating families on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and progress to ensure compliance with legal standards. Advocate for clients' needs and support access to community resources and accommodations. Assist at a neighboring facility located nine minutes away. Full-time position with starting pay of $46/hour, plus health, dental, vision, 401(k), and CEU support.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of GA
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to perform physical tasks related to therapy
- Also assist at a neighboring facility 9 mins away
