Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Assess patient function and develop individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs, mobility, and independence to improve quality of life. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes, educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment, and maintain accurate and timely documentation. This 13-week contract offers competitive pay including housing and travel stipends for travelers, with options for permanent placement. New grads are welcome to join a supportive team focused on helping patients regain independence.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate occupational therapy provider
- Comfortable working in the SNF setting
- Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and clinical reasoning skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and a heart for patient care
- Active Occupational Therapy License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Current TB test/results
- Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year, or ability to obtain)
