Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of conditions in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Assess patient function and develop individualized treatment plans focusing on ADLs, mobility, and independence to improve quality of life. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes while educating patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment. Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all care provided. This role offers competitive pay including hourly rates plus housing and travel stipends for travelers, with a 13-week contract option or permanent placement. New grads are welcome if they hold an active license or can obtain one, along with current BLS/CPR and TB test results.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate occupational therapy provider
- Comfortable working in the SNF setting
- Quick learner who can adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and clinical reasoning skills
- A team player with a positive attitude and a heart for patient care
- Active Occupational Therapy License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Current TB test/results
- Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year, or ability to obtain)
