Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Staff OT, full-time position in Porterville, CA at Sequoia Transitional Care. Evaluate and treat residents, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, supervise COTAs and therapy aides, participate in interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and staff, and support discharge planning. Requires California OT license and CPR certification; bachelor’s degree in OT (master’s/doctorate preferred). Competitive pay starting at $60/hour with day shift availability and potential relocation. Focus on geriatrics, post-acute care, and resident independence with a collaborative, resident-centered team. Responsibilities include evaluating patients within 24 hours of referral, creating care plans, direct therapy services, documentation compliant with OT Board and payer standards, and training staff on therapy goals.
Required Qualifications
- Current California Occupational Therapy License
- Current CPR Certification
