Job Summary
Independent Contractor Occupational Therapist in Home Health responsible for the assessment and evaluation of patient functionality, ADLs, fine motor coordination, home assessments and adaptive equipment. Develops treatment plans, performs interventions to improve functioning and safety, and evaluates patient progress. Leads patients in therapeutic and self-care activities, instructs patients, families, caregivers, and health-care teams in therapy areas, and coordinates with the care team. Requires an OT license/registration and accredited OT program; bilingual is a plus. Offers flexible scheduling, independence, and administrative support to clinicians to maintain work-life balance in the Miami area.
Required Qualifications
- Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state
- Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program
- Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages
