Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to restore physical abilities and independence. Design individualized programs that reinforce skills, train patients and caregivers on productivity techniques, and facilitate referrals to peers for comprehensive care. Provide direct therapy in facility settings while collaborating with the clinical team to promote patient thriving.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
