Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help older adults and children regain independence and physical abilities. Design individualized programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance patient capabilities while training caregivers on skills for home productivity. Collaborate with peers to make referrals and adapt care to diverse patient settings within the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
