Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to restore physical abilities and independence. Design individualized programs that reinforce and enhance patient capabilities while training caregivers on skills to promote productivity. Collaborate with peers to make referrals for comprehensive care and adapt to diverse patient settings across skilled nursing, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based environments. Full-time in facility with up to $10,000 retention bonus, 401k, and free CEUs through Medbridge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
