Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity while collaborating with peers and making referrals to ensure comprehensive care. Work in facility settings across skilled nursing centers, assisted living, outpatient clinics, and home-based care to help older adults stay active and children thrive. You will design individualized programs that address the whole patient, adapting to diverse needs and settings. Full-time role with up to $10,000 retention bonus, 401k, and free CEUs through Medbridge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
