Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help older adults stay active and thrive. Design individualized programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote productivity while collaborating with peers and making referrals to ensure comprehensive care. Report to the Director of Rehab in facility settings. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
