Job Summary
Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy to help patients regain independence and productivity. Design programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities while collaborating with peers and making referrals as needed. Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote their long-term thriving. Work in a facility setting within a patient-centered team focused on restoring hope and improving lives across skilled nursing, assisted living, and home-based care environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
- initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
