Job Summary
Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans for conservative and post-operative hand conditions. Design functional programs facilitating return to community activities while directing discipline-specific therapy services. Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self. Maintain current state licensure and Certified Hand Therapist certification, with BLS certification required within the first 90 days. Work in an outpatient clinic setting Monday through Friday with hours varying between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Certified Hand Therapist certification
- Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment
- Experience in hand/splinting
