Job Summary
Occupational Therapist delivers and coordinates occupational therapy services for patients across age groups (infant to geriatrics) within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment programs, evaluating patients using diverse data sources, selecting activities to promote health and achieve treatment goals, planning and coordinating interventions with rehabilitation, medical, and nursing care plans, documenting evaluation results and progress notes, and maintaining effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and team members. The role emphasizes ongoing professional growth, knowledge sharing, and participation in department program development; requires active state licensing and the ability to work with a range of ages in various functional settings.
