Job Summary
A certified Occupational Therapist (OT) will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with physical, cognitive, sensory and social/emotional disabilities or delays by planning and administering occupational therapy in the home and community. Provides high quality care by performing evaluations, developing goals for the child, and creating and implementing OT treatment plans in conjunction with the physician. Educates, coaches, and empowers caregivers to carry over therapeutic activities into daily routines. Coordinates with referral partners to provide services per physician order. Ensures continuation of therapeutic plan post-discharge by instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs. Documents patient care in an electronic medical record system. Required Qualifications
- Texas State OT license
- Current CPR certification
