Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) needed to provide pediatric occupational therapy in home and community settings. Responsibilities include evaluating and interpreting assessment results, developing child-specific goals, creating and implementing OT treatment plans with physicians, assisting pediatric and young adult patients in physical, neurological, cognitive, sensory, feeding, ADL and social-emotional areas to maximize independence, educating and empowering caregivers to carry over activities, coordinating with referral partners, ensuring continuation of therapeutic plans post-discharge through home exercise programs, documenting care in an EMR, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Must hold a state license and CPR certification; 1+ year experience preferred.
