Job Summary
As an Occupational Therapist (OT) at Mercy Medical Center Home Health and Hospice, you will provide home-based therapy care directed by attending physicians, facilitating patients' recovery journeys. Responsibilities include developing individualized plans of care, evaluating patients' functioning levels, educating families, and overseeing the care provided by COTAs. Successful candidates should demonstrate compassion, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. A current OT license in the state of employment and at least one year of acute care experience are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Occupational Therapist with a current license in the state of employment
- Minimum one-year experience as a OT in an acute care setting
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver
- Capable of all physical demands
Desired Qualifications
- Home care experience preferred
